Pegmatite is a intrusive igneous rock, which means it's formed through cooling and consolidation of magma, below the surface of the earth. This rock is mostly found in the major cratons (old and stable parts of the continental lithosphere). Their importance results by the fact that they often contain rare minerals such as aquamarine, topaz or fluorite.

Gifted with such powerful colours, and having the strength to bear low temperature they are one of my favourite flowers. Don't you love the white ones..?!
The blue colour of the sky gives me a feeling of safety and peace. It's the perfect colour...it just feels right. Not the same thing I can say when I see the sunset. As beautiful as it is most of the times, it gives me a bad feeling, and I instantly think of dust, blood, war... But did you know that some 2,5 million years ago, our sky had only orange shades? Which one do you prefer?
